confusion of numbers and
letters which is my calculus
exam, waiting for inspiration

not coming so i graph
the numbers, put them in
a concrete picture, hoping to
give form to the puzzle so
puzzling still waiting for
inspiration to hit, hit me
hard against the wall and
bash my brains out
keep the eyeballs intact to
see the purple of dusk
a couple of hours away

A Brand New Summer

March 3
The sun is out, the wind is warm, and the girls are in their summer-wear. The boys appreciate this: the good one (who, of course, are taken) also dress the part, the crude one leer or vocalize, while the nice ones are quite oblivious as they enjoy the blueness of the sky, the breeze ruffling their hair.

Ask me how a coral reef is formed, but please not the integral of -3 / (t+2) squared. I have to say the former has a bigger impact than the latter. And the rain pours down, down, down, dousing everything with moisture, dismaying the girl from Ipanema who goes walking on soft, squishy mud so that she doesn't see him as she passes by.
